Full bookshelves at the BLM Library

The BLM Library, located in Denver at the National Operations Center, is the only full-service library in the BLM with professional staff.  The BLM Library provides access to scientific, historical, and legal information regarding public lands and natural resources management to support researchers, BLM decision makers, and the public.

The BLM Library’s collection goes beyond books, including peer-reviewed journals, technical publications, policy, historical documents, and more. While most of the collection focuses on biological and earth sciences, the library also provides materials pertaining to policy and management. Click to search our online catalog.

In addition to providing access to materials, the BLM Library Reference librarians will quickly answer your questions and assist users in locating information and items.
