Alaska Fire Hot Careers Infographic

The BLM Alaska Fire Service is made up of more than 500 employees with the mission of wildland fire management for Department of the Interior and Alaska Native lands in Alaska and provides oversight of the BLM Alaska aviation program. AFS has almost the same number of fire crew personal as support staff, showing that there’s a lot of work and talent behind the scenes supporting the frontlines.
