Accessibility Description (ABA/ADA)
Click on the image above to view more photos of accessibility features at this site.
The hard-packed gravel parking lot has 10 spaces, delineated by black and white striped parking stops, and 1 concrete accessible parking space that is striped and signed and has an access aisle. The accessible parking spot is next to a vertical, unshaded information sign.
From the parking lot, go through a 4-foot-wide entry to a hard-packed gravel loop path to the shooting platform. The slope from the parking lot is about 5 degrees. The slope gets steeper if you go straight ahead, but taking the left fork of the loop provides a gentler slope, although it’s still more than 5 degrees and may be challenging for some visitors.
The shooting platform is a long, flat, hard-packed surface. The 5 shooting bays are marked on the ground. Three trash cans, which should be accessible, are the only vertical amenities on the shooting platform.
The site has no running water, picnic tables, toilets, or other amenities. Cell service is spotty.
Descriptions and photos uploaded November 2024. Please note that actual on-the-ground conditions may vary due to natural events (e.g., weather, wildfires, erosion), normal wear and tear, or site improvements.
