River Trail System Phase II - Ranch Connection - Carson City, NV

The Carson River Trail System, Phase 2 -Ranch Connections Trail Project aimed to design and construct multiple trail segments totaling more than three miles along the Carson River, Prison Hill Recreation Area, and Silver Saddle Ranch to link existing trails and create broader trail connectivity in Carson City, Nevada. Specifically, the trails aimed to provide a physical connection between urban areas to agricultural areas and open space - which provides increased recreational opportunities for families and those with mobility challenges, while improving visitor safety and minimizing disturbance to natural areas and wildlife habitats. The allocated funding for the Round 16 project was $1.7M, and it was closed in December 2023.
