Alaska Fire Service Fire Operations
The Branch of Fire Operations manages the primary pool of fire operations forces and delivery systems for the Alaska Fire Service. Fire Operations develops, evaluates and standardizes personnel and equipment delivery systems.
Fire Operations also functions as a support organization and statewide focal point for fire operations technology. While maintaining a high state of readiness in all areas, they also provide air attack and air tanker operational management.
