Northwest Oregon: Yaquina Head Announces New Seasonal Hours

Newport, Ore. -- The BLM’s Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area will change hours of operation beginning May 13, 2018.  The site will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to sunset Friday and Saturday. Extended hours will be offered on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend with the site being open until sunset. Park hours will return to 7:00 a.m. to sunset every day beginning June 29, 2018. The BLM is committed to serving the American family by being good neighbors and providing recreational opportunities.  

The Interpretive Center is open daily from10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The park entrance fee is $7.00/vehicle (3-Day Pass). Accepted passes include Yaquina Head Annual Pass, Oregon Pacific Coast Passport, and Federal Annual, Senior, Military, Access, Volunteer and Every Kid in a Park Passes.
