Subject: Federal Register Notice Template for Notices of Realty Actions for Recreation and Public Purposes Act Classifications

In an effort to achieve efficiency in processing Federal Register Notices of Realty Action (NORA) for Recreation and Public Purposes Act (RPPA) Classifications, we are issuing a revised standardized template to guide offices submitting publication requests.

The attached template will assist the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to streamline the Federal Register process by ensuring consistency in submissions of similar documents and may reduce the amount of revisions for consistency necessary during review and thus reduce the time required for approval for publication.

Please develop your NORA RPPA Classification Notice consistent with the template prior to submitting materials to the Washington Office for review and approval.
