Meagan Conry

Idaho State Director (Acting)

Meagan Conry became the acting Idaho State Director in January 2026. Conry has been in Idaho for more than a decade working in management, most recently as the Deputy Assistant Director for the BLM Fire Program at the National Interagency Fire Center since 2019, and also as the acting Associate State Director for the Idaho State Office and a Division Chief. Her early work focused on resource management planning and National Environmental Policy Act work—skills she took to western Oregon for years to plan timber sales, recreation, and other management activities. Conry began her career with the BLM 21 years ago, starting as a Presidential Management Fellow in Washington, DC, after completing her master’s in forestry at the University of Montana.
