As America marks its 250th anniversary, the Bureau of Land Management is celebrating in Oregon by connecting communities with public lands that help tell the nation’s story.

University of Wyoming researcher Walker Bensch is studying how grazing and trampling by elk and cattle influence native bees, wildflowers and pollinator habitat on public lands near Fossil Butte National Monument.
