The BLM's White River Field Office administers more than one million BLM surface acres in Rio Blanco, Moffat, and Garfield Counties.

Meeker Mustang Makeover

The annual Meeker Mustang Makeover event is planned for August 23 and 24, 2024. The event will be hosted at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds and feature several demonstrations and clinics. Trainers will pickup their wild horses April 27 and return in August to show-off their training skills!

Meeker Trails

The Meeker Trails are approximately a 10-mile trail system designed for hiking and mountain biking only. These trails provide opportunities for all skill levels and abilities. The trail system connects Sanderson Hills Park, Jensen Memorial Park, Ute Park and BLM lands. Trailhead access and parking is available at the Sanderson Hills Park and at the end of Hill Street in Ute Park.
