BLM Northwest Resource Advisory Council will meet virtually this month

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Bureau of Land Management Colorado Northwest Resource Advisory Council will host a virtual meeting Aug. 20 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public. A virtual meeting link and agenda will be posted on the NW RAC webpage prior to meeting; registration is required to gain access to the meeting.
Planned agenda items include a discussion on fuels projects, the North Sand Hills, and field office updates. A public comment period is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Individuals who want to make a statement during the public comment period are encouraged to also submit a written copy of their statement at the meeting for the administrative record.
The Northwest RAC advises the Northwest District including the Little Snake, Kremmling and White River field offices; and the Upper Colorado River District which includes the Colorado River Valley and Grand Junction field offices along with the Dominguez-Escalante and McInnis Canyons National Conservation Areas.
