SUSANVILLE, Calif. – The Bureau of Land Management in partnership with Lassen Rural Bus is offering outdoor enthusiasts the chance to celebrate National Trails Day, Saturday, June 7, with a shuttle-assisted outing on the Bizz Johson National Recreation Trail in Lassen County. The shuttle allows bicyclists, walkers and runners to enjoy an outing on the trail without having to arrange their own vehicle shuttles.
The event, held at the Wind River Public Off-Range Pasture north of Lander, Wyoming, will run 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and feature approximately 20 untrained wild horses for adoption and free tours to see the resident wild horses.
