BLM hosts National Public Lands Day clean-up event at Escalante Creek

Event Description
Join BLM and regional partners Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area for a hands-on stewardship project in honor of National Public Lands Day. Volunteers will join members from Colorado Canyons Association, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Western Slope Climbers Coalition and others, to help clean up and remove accumulated debris from Escalante Creek. To participate, arrive at the Escalante Boat Launch Sept. 20 by 9 a.m. to fill out the volunteer sign-up sheet. Please bring food, water, weather protection for the day, appropriate footwear, and work gloves.
