Western historian and award-winning author Mark Warren will present “Nate Champion and the Johnson County War, 1892,” at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22.

The BLM Roswell Field Office is celebrating National Public Lands Day by inviting volunteers to Fort Stanton-Snowy River Cave National Conservation Area.

Volunteers will assist the Bureau of Land Management El Centro Field Office in conducting maintenance and restoration activities in the Lark Canyon Day Use Area, Lark Canyon Campgrounds, and Cottonwood Campground in McCain Valley in San Diego County.

Volunteers will assist the BLM with trail maintenance, post installation, and trash pick-up in the Penrose Commons OHV area.

The Trails Center will host a Native American beadwork demonstration at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

September 21: Clean up at Gooseneck Recreation Area

Come explore the Cross Bar and help keep it beautiful. Hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, hunters, and anyone who enjoys their public lands and wants to help keep these lands beautiful, should join us! Volunteers will pick up trash along trails and fence lines.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Roswell Field Office is celebrating the 31st Annual National Public Lands Day by inviting volunteers to help plant native grasses and shrub seeds and install riprap rock check dams on Fort Stanton-Snowy River Cave National Conservation Area in Lincoln County.

A BLM wild horse and burro adoption event is scheduled to take place in Cullman, Alabama at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center Sept. 19-21, 2024

The Rocky Mountain Resource Advisory Council will meet in-person in Cañon City, Colo., on Sept. 19, 2024. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. at the Royal Gorge Field Office, and members of the public are welcome to attend.
