Southeastern States
The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Eastern States (BLM-ES), Southeastern States District (SSD) is responsible for the stewardship of the public lands and resources under the jurisdiction of the BLM in the 11 Southeastern States adjoining and east of the Mississippi River. This includes Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
