BLM to host tours of Bruneau Off-Range Wild Horse Corrals

The Bureau of Land Management will offer two public tours of the Bruneau Off-Range Wild Horse Corrals on Tuesday, June 2. The first tour will begin at 10 a.m. and the second will begin at 1 p.m. Each tour will last about two hours and can accommodate up to 20 people. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Friends of Moon Rocks 6th Annual Clean Up

Memorial Day weekend is the busiest weekend of the year at the North Reno Recreation Area, also known as Moon Rocks. Annually, on the Saturday after Memorial Day, BLM teams up with the Friends of Moon Rocks to clean up the area. The cleanup starts at 9am and is followed by a BBQ (open to all volunteers).
