Partnered adoption event with Forever Branded and Mustang Match Alabama

The United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service  and the BLM will host a public meeting Wednesday in Adel to address the rising Mormon Cricket populations in Lake County.

The Bureau of Land Management’s California Trail Interpretive Center invites the public to join Freedom 250 Trail Days, a two-day living-history celebration honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States and the peoples who shaped the American West

Join volunteers for a weekend in the San Luis Valley, completing general maintenance tasks such as tread, corridor, and drainage work. Some sections will include handcrafting new mountain bike features.

The California Trail Center's annual Trail Days is the official Freedom 250 event for the state of Nevada, celebrating the 250th birthday of the USA!

At the Water Canyon Recreation Area volunteers will help BLM personal install a small puncheon. Additional projects include clearing the pollinator garden of invasive plants and minor trail maintenance.

Join the BLM at the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center for a presentation in coordination with the Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance and Montezuma Lands Conservancy.

BLM Wyoming will hold a wild horse event June 6 at the Wind River Ranch. The event begins Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m., and will feature up to 20 animals for adoption.

The Bureau of Land Management will offer two public tours of the Bruneau Off-Range Wild Horse Corrals on Tuesday, June 2. The first tour will begin at 10 a.m. and the second will begin at 1 p.m. Each tour will last about two hours and can accommodate up to 20 people. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Memorial Day weekend is the busiest weekend of the year at the North Reno Recreation Area, also known as Moon Rocks. Annually, on the Saturday after Memorial Day, BLM teams up with the Friends of Moon Rocks to clean up the area. The cleanup starts at 9am and is followed by a BBQ (open to all volunteers).

The Bureau of Land Management’s Roswell Field Office invites the public to a moonrise hike at 8 p.m. on May 30.
