BLM invites the public to participate in the second of two public meetings to provide input on proposed Spring Valley gold mine in Pershing County, Nevada

LOVELOCK, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management is inviting the public to participate and provide input during the development of an environmental impact statement for the proposed Spring Valley Mine Project in Pershing County, Nevada.

The second public meeting will be held on April 4, 2024 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in the Winnemucca Convention Center (West Half) located at 50 West Winnemucca Blvd., Winnemucca, NV 89445.

Particularly helpful input could include potential local concerns and opportunities related to the proposal, the identification of potential alternatives and issues to be analyzed, information about historic and cultural resources within the area that may be affected, and possible measures to minimize or avoid adverse impacts.

Comments may be submitted through April 17, 2024 on the ePlanning website.
