Tower Rock Recreation Site | Idaho

The Lewis & Clark Expedition camped at the Tower Rock site, along the main Salmon River. Today, the site offers prime river access for floaters and steelhead and trout fishermen. Camping and picnic sites are also available, and the area makes a great stopping point for scenic drivers. There is a $5/night camp site fee.

The Tower Rock Campground has the following accessibility amenities: Each campsite has accessible picnic tables, campfire rings with grills. Accessible Double vault toilets, paved campsites, paved paths, accessible interpretive panels, accessible group shelters with grills.

Directions

North of Salmon, Idaho on Highway 93. Take Highway 93 north from Salmon, Idaho approximately 10 miles. The campground is on your left next to the river.
