Cottonwood Recreation Site

Remember your OUTDOOR ETHICS when enjoying your public lands. Please RECREATE RESPONSIBLY.

The Cottonwood Recreation Site sits among groves of cottonwoods along the scenic Upper Salmon River and provides a beautiful setting for fishing and camping. It has a campground, day-use area, and boat ramp. There is typically reliable cell phone service at this site.

The campground contains 12 campsites and two walk-in tent sites along with four vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and potable water.

The day-use area has a reservable covered pavilion with water, electricity, grills, firepit, and horseshoe pit.
