The BLM has a network of wild horse and burro off-range corrals that offer wild horses and burros for adoption. Many facilities have regular business hours during which an appointment can be made. Visit our Facilities Page for more information about each of our facilities.
Some facilities host weekly, monthly or quarterly events that allow for walk-up adoptions - no appointment needed. See schedule of regularly occurring facility events below.
