BLM Montana-Dakotas manage public rangelands which are divided into grazing allotments.  Public land grazing is managed to ensure the long-term health of these lands.

Range is part of the Biological Resources and Science Branch which includes other program areas such as Natural Resources, forestry, and wildlife.
