BLM Utah Forests and Woodlands

BLM Utah manages approximately 6 Million acres of Pinyon Juniper woodlands and another 700,000 acres of diverse forest land. The goals of the forestry program are to emphasize forest and woodland inventory, stewardship contracting, biomass utilization, improve forest and woodland health, utilize vegetative sales and permitting in order to increase community economic benefits.
