Central California District Office

The Central California (CenCal) District Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) manages public lands in the central heart of the state. Spanning the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, the CenCal District offers an abundance of scenic and recreational opportunities for public use and provides a wealth of natural resources for California.

The CenCal District is divided into five (5) field offices: Bakersfield, Bishop, Central Coast, Mother Lode and Ukiah. Combined, these field offices manage slightly more than two million acres of your public lands.

The CenCal District Office and Mother Lode Field Office are co-located in El Dorado Hills, California.
