Your Junior Ranger mission, should you choose to accept it: Virtually explore our National Conservation Lands!

The Bureau of Land Management has released a new Junior Ranger mission focused on our National Conservation Lands, exploring and celebrating some of the nation’s most spectacular landscapes. Agent Seymour leads this interactive virtual adventure through 14 engaging challenges that encourage movement and play, while celebrating the legacy of America’s public lands.

To join Agent Seymour for this free, virtual experience, download the Agents of Discovery app and search for “National Conservation Lands (Virtual, Play Anywhere!).” Find more information on BLM’s virtual Junior Ranger missions at the BLM Junior Ranger Missions web page.

Want to keep exploring? The BLM’s Junior Ranger Program introduces young adventurers to the lands and resources managed by the BLM. Along with virtual fun, on-site programs, special events, and activity books are just some of the opportunities for children and their families to get to know their public lands.

National Conservation Lands 25th anniversary celebration!

In 2025, BLM is celebrating 25 years of National Conservation Lands! These landscapes – primarily in the West – are some of our nation’s most spectacular sights, including National Monuments, National Conservation Areas, Wilderness and Wilderness Study Areas, Wild and Scenic Rivers, and National Scenic and Historic Trails. Designated by Congress and the President to preserve special features, the National Conservation Lands encompass more than 37 million acres, from red-rock deserts and winding rivers to historical sites and mountain vistas.
