Public Input & Actions

The Federal Register is the official daily publication for notices, proposed rules and final rules of Federal agencies. The BLM uses the Federal Register to announce and explain our plans to solve problems and accomplish goals, and to give the public an opportunity to comment on the actions we propose. We encourage citizens to make their voices heard on the issues that are important to them.

New Recreation Fee Areas and New Fees for Existing Individual Special Recreation Permits for On-River Camping in the Gunnison River Special Recreation Management Area Within the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area, Colorado

The Bureau of Land Management Grand Junction Field Office, Upper Colorado River District, and the Uncompahgre Field Office, Southwest District, intend to establish recreation fee areas at existing developed campgrounds, future developed campgrounds and campsites, and for designated campsites within the Gunnison River Special Recreation Management Area in the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area as managed by the field offices as one NCA unit in Delta, Mesa, and Montrose Counties. BLM will use the profits to pay for maintenance and improvements at current and future sites.
