Copper River Region
The Copper River is a 290-mile river in south-central Alaska located in the Copper River Region. It drains a large region of the Alaska Range to the north and the Wrangell Mountains and Chugach Mountains into the Gulf of Alaska. The river is the tenth largest in the United States, as ranked by average discharge volume at its mouth.
