BLM to Hold Federal Oil and Gas Lease Sale on October 22, 2014

Santa Fe, NM - On October 22, 2014, the New Mexico State Office will hold its Oil and Gas Lease Sale in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A total of 13 parcels for a total of 19787.67 subsurface acreage on U.S. Forest Service public lands in Sandoval and Rio Arriba Counties are being offered. These parcels were nominated for leasing and the BLM received consent from the U.S. Forest Service to go forward with the sale. The oral auction will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the BLM New Mexico State Office, 301 Dinosaur Trail, Santa Fe, New Mexico. BLM representatives will be available in the lobby at 8 a.m. to allow each interested party time to obtain a bidding number. The sale will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Only oral bids offered at the sale will be accepted. Parcels will be awarded to qualified bidders offering the highest acceptable bid.
