CAÑON CITY, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office is asking for public input on a proposal to thin 65 acres of forested land in Fremont County.

CANON CITY, Colo. –Fire crews have completely contained the Bull Gulch Fire. The 76 acre fire is located nine miles northeast of Cotopaxi in Fremont County.

With the Fourth of July holiday approaching, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has implemented a statewide fire restriction order for all BLM-managed public lands in New Mexico.

Cañon City, Colo. – Today, fire crews finished mopping-up the fire perimeter. The Royal Gorge Fire is 100 percent contained as of 6 p.m. this evening.
