BLM extends comment period for the Norwood-Burn Canyon Comprehensive Travel Management Plan

NORWOOD, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management’s Uncompahgre Field Office is extending the public comment period for the preliminary Norwood-Burn Canyon Comprehensive Travel Management Plan Environmental Assessment due to technical difficulties associated with the project email address.
The new deadline for public comments is Tuesday, May 13, and the public is asked to submit written comments via email to blm_co_ufo_tmp@blm.gov, by fax to 970-240-5368 or by mail to the Uncompahgre Field Office, Attn: Norwood-Burn Canyon Travel Management, 2465 S. Townsend Ave., Montrose, CO 81401.
The preliminary EA analyzes four alternatives for an interconnecting trail system on about 9,850 acres of public land managed by the BLM about three miles west of Norwood, Colo.
