Northwest Oregon: Northwest Oregon Resource Advisory Council Meets March 16, 2017

Salem, Ore. – The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM’s) Northwest (NW) Oregon Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet at the Salem office at 1717 Fabry Road SE in Salem, OR on March 20. The focus of the meeting will be nomination of a RAC Chairperson, recreation-related subcommittee opportunities, and an update on implementation of the Resource Management Plans for Western Oregon.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 5:00 p.m. A public comment period will be offered at 12:00 p.m.
In future meetings, the RAC will provide recommendations for recreation fee changes under the 2005 Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act, and provide advice on various BLM issues in NW Oregon as they occur.
