EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management's Mother Lode Field Office plans to burn small piles of brush on the Pine Hill Preserve around Cameron Park in mid to late March if weather conditions allow.

The BLM will burn small piles of brush that were created while building fuel breaks.

The BLM has been cutting and piling brush while creating fire breaks. The pile burning will reduce the fuel load and make the fire breaks more effective.

For more information, call the Mother Lode Field Office at (916) 941-3101.
