MOAB, Utah — On Thursday, March 24, at 4 p.m. Mountain Time, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Moab Field Office will host a virtual listening session focused on the Castle Valley area, which is approximately 23 miles northeast of Moab.

The BLM looks forward to hearing from interested members of the public about public land topics of interest or concern in the Castle Valley area. The two-hour listening session will begin with a short presentation and the majority of the time will be devoted to hearing from attendees. While we cannot promise that we will be able to address every concern, we are committed to listening and looking for creative solutions. Each individual will receive up to two minutes to provide their input. If interested members of the public are unable to attend the listening session but would still like to submit input, they may send it to ngaddiswyatt@blm.gov by March 31, 2022. The BLM plans to host additional listening sessions in the future focusing on different areas within the approximately 1.8-million-acre field office’s jurisdiction.

Interested members of the public may register to attend this virtual listening session at: https://blm.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_vHDhKtYAR8OOJKpC91ZNGg

Advanced registration is encouraged but not required. Once the listening session has started, attendees may use the provided registration link to join the meeting. The listening session will be closed captioned. For additional information or with requests for accommodations, please contact Nicollee Gaddis-Wyatt at ngaddiswyatt@blm.gov. Individuals in the United States who are deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability may dial 711 (TTY, TDD, or TeleBraille) to access telecommunications relay services. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Replies are provided during normal business hours.
