BLM Co-Sponsors Tire Amnesty in Nevada County

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - In an effort to reduce illegal dumping, Waste Management, Nevada County and the Bureau of Land Management are hosting a tire amnesty event on April 18 - 22.

Tires will be collected from 8 a.m. to 2 .p.m. at the following locations and dates:

April 18 - 19
McCourtney Road Transfer Station
14741 Wolf Mountain Road
Grass Valley

April 20 - 21
North San Juan Transfer Station
10125 Flume St.
North San Juan

April 22
Washington Transfer Station
15886 Gaston Road
Washington

Residents of Nevada County can dispose of up to nine tires at no charge during the event. This event is not open to businesses. No tractor or commercial tires will be accepted (remove rims from tires prior to disposal).
