Swiftwater Field Office

The Swiftwater Field Office manages a rugged and diverse portion of public lands in western Oregon, where dense forests, steep river canyons, and rich wildlife habitat define the landscape. Centered around the North Umpqua River corridor, the field office oversees recreation sites, timberlands, trails, and vital watersheds that support both ecological health and local communities. From sustainable forest management to habitat restoration and outdoor recreation, the Swiftwater team works to steward these public lands for multiple uses while ensuring they remain healthy, accessible, and resilient for future generations.
