Bidding begins for BLM commercial pine nut gathering permits

CEDAR CITY, Utah – Sealed contract bids for commercial pine nut gathering permits must be submitted to the Bureau of Land Management’s Cedar City Field Office by 2 p.m. Aug. 5.
 
This includes pine nut gathering on BLM administered lands on Indian Peaks and Mountain Home ranges.
 
All bidding submissions will be written sealed bids only.  Contractor submissions require a security deposit at no less than the advertised appraisal price and shall be required to participate in bidding. Permits are not required for personal use gathering of pine nuts up to 25 pounds per year.
