BLM Approves New Communication Site in Castle Valley for Internet Service to Residents

MOAB, Utah—The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Moab Field Office recently approved a right-of-way proposal from Royce’s Electronics, Inc. to construct and operate a communications site in the Castle Valley Area. The purpose of the project is to provide high speed and more reliable internet service to the town of Castle Valley. The proposed communication site would also provide a 911 back-up to the current service. The ten year right-of-way grant includes the tower site location, approximately 2000 square feet, and use of a designated access route, approximately 3400 feet long. The height of the tower is about 15 feet.
