Tribal Consultations for Oil and Gas Leasing Handbook

This handbook is intended to be a detailed tool for the Ute Tribes and Colorado BLM staff to use during the BLM oil and gas lease sale process, but it is not to be used in place of consultation, which is still required. It can assist consultation by providing insight when implementing protective measures in specific areas that the Ute Tribes may want protected from oil and gas development.
