Glendive OHV Area (SRMA)

Glendive Short Pine OHV Area is a 2,800 acres recreation area classified by the BLM as a limited area; which means operators are limited to existing roads and trails for motorcycles, four wheelers, four-wheel drive trucks and sport-utility vehicles. The vast array of trails crisscrossing the landscape gives motorists the option of an easy ride or a steep challenge. There’s something for every skill level out there. All vehicles must be legally registered, either with a license plate or off-road sticker and have an unmodified spark arrestor.

The following rules apply at the Glendive Short Pine Recreation Area:

  • OHVs that are not street legal (license plated) are not allowed to travel on County Road #335, (Marsh Road).
  • Motorists and passengers age 18 and under must wear a helmet.
  • Dumping and littering is prohibited.
  • Do not trespass onto adjacent private property.
  • The use of exploding targets, fireworks, tracers or pyrotechnics is prohibited on all federal lands.
  • Adventure is at Your Fingertips
