Launch, staging and parking areas

Harpham Flat Recreation Site | Oregon

As one of the busiest recreation sites on the Deschutes Wild and Scenic River, Harpham Flat’s facilities accommodate tens of thousands of public lands visitors annually. Harpham Flat includes a 13-site campground and a busy boat launch. This bustling launch gets congested during peak staging and launching periods during the summer months. Overnighting oar boats land here as “splash and giggle” paddle rafts launch for day floats. A seasonally-staffed boater information station is located at the boat ramp.
