Washington: Public comment period open for mine expansion

SPOKANE, Wash. – Today, the Bureau of Land Management Spokane District posted the environmental assessment for the proposed Lane Mountain South mine expansion, which supports working landscapes across America. The environmental assessment is now available for a 30-day public review and comment period.

The environmental assessment and associated documents are available at https://go.usa.gov/xRVAU.

The BLM is accepting public comments until September 10, 2017. Comments may be submitted on the ePlanning website through the link provided above under the “Documents” section. 

Be advised that your entire comment, including your personal identifying information, may be made publicly available. While you can ask us in your comments to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
