Trails Center hosts living history event this weekend

CASPER, Wyo. – Experience life as a pioneer this weekend at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center with old fashioned pioneer games, music, and more.
July 29, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and July 30, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., living history re-enactors with the Merchant family will be at the Trails Center to showcase pioneer life along the trail. Step back in time with pioneer games at 10 a.m., music at 12 p.m., and a “life on the trails” presentation at 2 p.m.
At 11 a.m. on Saturday, participants in this weekend’s youth event will experience how people kept busy on a 19th century road trip with the program, “Pioneer Pastimes.” Family and friends are welcome to join in and learn first-hand about some of the popular games that pioneers played while travelling the historic trails.

- 12 p.m. – Pioneer Music
