Trails Center honors Pathfinder Dam builders Saturday

CASPER, Wyo. – Join the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center this Saturday, November 13 for a special presentation highlighting one of Wyoming’s first human-created marvels, Pathfinder Dam.
At 1 p.m., Trails Center interpreter Reid Miller will present “Wyoming’s Forgotten Builders.” providing an engaging reminder of the very busy days of early 20th century Wyoming. The presentation features rare photographs and information illustrating the historic construction of Pathfinder dam and the hardworking laborers who made it possible.
“Construction of the Pathfinder Dam was an unprecedented engineering achievement in Wyoming,” said Trails Center manager Dennis Kuhnel. “Even after 110 years, the dam continues to serve Wyoming and other states in many ways.”
The presentation is free to the public.
