Roseburg, Ore. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will close Union Creek Road on May 11 and 12, 2018. The replacement of these culverts helps in keeping public landscapes healthy and productive through improved infrastructure and reduced erosion. This culvert replacement work is required to complete the replacement of several deep culverts that are in close proximity to one another. On these dates no through traffic at any time will be permitted.
The BLM began culvert replacements along Union Creek Road on April 30 and plans to conclude work by May 18, 2018. The public should expect daily closures on Union Creek Road between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., lasting up to two hours.
Union Creek is located 22 miles West of Riddle, Oregon, along the Cow Creek Back Country Byway.
