ANCHORAGE – The Bureau of Land Management will host a press availability immediately preceding the public scoping meeting for the Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) today at 4 p.m. in the Dena’ina Center. The Department of Interior’s Assistant Secretary for Lands and Minerals Management, Joe Balash, will be available to answer questions about the Coastal Plain Leasing EIS.
