Bureau of Land Management Baker Field Office closing temporarily for building repairs

BAKER CITY, Ore. – To ensure the safety of the public and staff, Vale Bureau of Land Management’s Baker Field Office will be closed Monday, Nov. 2, through Friday, Nov. 13, while building repairs are made.
“We regret the inconvenience this may cause visitors and others who do business with our office,” Baker Field Manager Joe Aragon said. “To minimize the disruption, we are offering many services by phone or email.”
For general customer service, call 541-523-1256 or email blm_or_bk_mail@blm.gov. Permits, maps, books, publications and passes can be purchased with a credit card by phone or email. Items will be mailed with a receipt. Grazing bills can also be paid with a credit card by phone or mailed to the address on the bill.
Staff specialists will also be available by phone or email, and off-site meetings can be arranged if needed.
