BLM Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Vegetation Treatment Project

PRICE, Utah — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking public comment on an environmental assessment (EA) for a vegetation treatment project in Carbon County. 

If approved, the North Springs Habitat Enhancement Project is intended to improve wildlife habitat and reduce wildfire risks. The proposed project is tied to Utah’s Watershed Restoration Initiative – a partnership based program that aims to improve watersheds throughout the state.

Comments will be most helpful to the BLM if received by Sept. 14, 2017.  Written comments can be submitted online at https://go.usa.gov/xRfMz or mailed to the BLM Price Field Office, ATTN: North Springs Habitat Enhancement Project, 125 South 600 West, Price, UT 84501.
