The Tabernacle of Praise Church, Inc., a non-profit community church has requested to purchase the sale parcel at the fair market value of $280,000 as determined by an appraisal.  The sale parcel is located on the corner of Buffalo Drive and Constantinople Avenue between Alexander Avenue and Cheyenne Avenue in Clark County.

The sale parcel is identified for disposal and has been analyzed through the Las Vegas Disposal Boundary Environmental Impact Statement of December 23, 2004.  A Determination of National Environmental Policy Act Adequacy number DOI-BLM-NV-S010-2016-0104-DNA for this sale, which tiers to the 2004 EIS, and is available for public review and comment.  The sale parcel lies within the disposal boundaries established in the Las Vegas Resource Management Plan and Record of Decision dated October 5, 1998.

In accordance with the SNPLMA, the funds generated by this sale will be used throughout Nevada for projects such as the development of parks, trails, and natural areas, capital improvements on federal lands, acquisition of environmentally sensitive land, and landscape restoration projects.  Additionally, five percent of the revenue goes to the State of Nevada General Education Fund and 10 percent to the Southern Nevada Water Authority.
