(MILES CITY, Mont.) – The BLM Miles City Field Office will drain and repair the Dean S. Reservoir beginning on Aug. 14.

The repair work is expected to last through the end of the September, however crews will continue to work as long as needed.

The site is located a short drive east of Miles City in the Pine Hills area. A leaking drainage valve and corroded piping warrant the repair of this fishing spot ahead of  inclement fall weather. The reservoir is filled by precipitation runoff and will be back in business in time for the 2020 summer recreation season.
