Spokane, WA -- In the interest of public health and safety, the gate at Jack Brown Road and Lake Valley Loop Road has been locked. Parts of the access road to Hog Canyon Lake have been washed out and other sections are currently underwater making the road impassable and a hazard. The pass gate for foot traffic is still open but the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) advises caution while walking the roughly two miles to the lake. Hog Canyon Lake is located approximately 11 miles northeast of Sprague, WA in Lincoln County.
