BLM to Cancel Two Public Meetings on Firewood Collection

Albuquerque, N.M. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has canceled the following public meetings on firewood collection in the Rio Puerco Field Office area:

Tuesday, June 20 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at City Hall, 600 West Santa Fe Avenue, Grants, New Mexico 

Wednesday, June 21 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at the BLM Albuquerque District Office, 100 Sun Ave, NE, Suite 330, Albuquerque, New Mexico  

Anyone interested in the administration of firewood and other forest product removal activities in the Rio Puerco Field Office area is invited to contact BLM Forester Jack N. River at jriver@blm.gov or at (505) 761-8755.
